Privacy Policy
Your data is yours. Here's exactly what I do and don't collect.
Effective: March 26, 2026
The short version: My desktop apps run locally on your machine. My Discord bots only process the data needed to function and don't sell or share anything. The website itself only collects what you voluntarily submit through the contact form.
1. Who I Am
Druidic Development ("I", "me", "my") is an independent software business operated by Brandon, based in Wisconsin, United States. This policy covers the website druidicdev.cloud, all desktop software sold through it, and all Discord bots developed and distributed by Druidic Development.
2. Data I Collect
Through the website
- Contact form submissions: When you send a message through the contact form, I receive your name, email address, selected topic, and message. This data is processed by Formspree (my form provider) and delivered to me via email. I use it solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Purchase information: When you purchase software, payment is processed by the third-party payment provider displayed at checkout. I receive your name, email, and proof of purchase — I do not receive or store your full payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).
- Basic analytics: The website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand page traffic (such as page views and referral sources). No personal information is collected, no cookies are used for tracking, and no data is shared with advertisers.
Through my desktop software
- Lore Keeper: All data you create (worlds, NPCs, locations, lore entries) is stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any external server. I have no access to your content.
- Discord Recorder: All audio recordings are saved locally to your device. No recordings are uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to me. The Discord bot component connects to Discord's servers solely to join voice channels and capture audio — it does not store or transmit data to Druidic Development.
Through my Discord bots
Discord bots developed by Druidic Development interact with the Discord API and may process the following data to function:
- Data processed: Discord user IDs, usernames, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, message content (only when a command is invoked or the bot is explicitly mentioned), and role information. This data is processed in real time to respond to commands and provide bot functionality.
- Data stored: Some bots may store per-server configuration data (such as command prefixes, enabled features, or channel assignments) to maintain settings between sessions. This data is tied to server IDs, not individual users, and is stored on the bot's hosting infrastructure.
- Data not stored: Message content is not logged or stored beyond what is needed to execute a command in real time. Private messages, message history, and user activity are not tracked, logged, or retained.
- Voice data: Bots that join voice channels (such as Discord Recorder) process audio only as described in their specific product terms. Audio is never stored on Druidic Development servers.
All Discord bots comply with Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy.
What I don't collect
- No telemetry or usage tracking in any app
- No advertising cookies or third-party trackers on the website
- No personal data sold or shared with third parties for marketing
- No accounts required to use the software
3. How I Use Your Data
Any data I receive is used only for:
- Responding to your contact form messages or support requests
- Delivering purchased software and license keys
- Sending important updates about software you've purchased (security patches, major updates) — no marketing emails unless you opt in
4. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are involved in operating druidicdev.cloud:
- Cloudflare Pages: Hosts the website. Cloudflare may collect basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of their infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Formspree: Processes contact form submissions. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- Discord: Discord Recorder connects to Discord's API to join voice channels. Discord's own data practices are governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or tracking services.
5. Data Retention
- Contact form messages: Retained in my email inbox indefinitely for support reference. You may request deletion at any time.
- Purchase records: Retained indefinitely for proof of purchase and license verification.
- Desktop app data: Stored locally on your device. You control it entirely — I never have it.
- Discord bot server configs: Retained as long as the bot remains in your server. When the bot is removed from a server, configuration data for that server is deleted within 30 days. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
- Discord bot command data: Not retained. Command inputs are processed in real time and discarded.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for any data processing at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email me at contact@druidicdev.cloud. I'll respond within 30 days.
For Discord bot data specifically: server administrators can remove the bot from their server at any time, which will trigger deletion of any stored configuration data. For individual user data deletion requests related to Discord bots, contact me with your Discord user ID.
7. Children's Privacy
My products and website are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided me with personal data, please contact me and I will delete it promptly.
8. Security
I take reasonable measures to protect any personal data I hold. The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted securely, and I don't store sensitive data I don't need. That said, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Users
Druidic Development is based in the United States. If you're accessing this site or using my software from outside the US, please be aware that any data you submit through the contact form will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or other regions with data protection laws: I process minimal personal data, and only with your consent (when you submit the contact form) or as necessary to fulfill a purchase. You may exercise your rights under GDPR or equivalent regulations by contacting me directly.
10. Changes to This Policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. If I make significant changes, I'll update the effective date at the top of this page. I encourage you to review this page periodically.
11. Contact
